- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines and architectures
- Collaborate closely with commercial, engineering, and data teams to define data strategies and standards
- Build and optimize data lakes and warehouses on cloud platforms
- Ensure high data quality and compliance with regulations such as PDPA
- Monitor and maintain existing data workflows and infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Participate in pre-sales activities such as scoping, estimation, and technical diagramming
- Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices
- Contribute to recruitment by evaluating and interviewing candidates
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, working with large-scale data systems
- Deep expertise in Python (preferred), Java, or Scala
- Strong experience with data lakes (S3, GCS) and warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse)
- Proficient in Spark and distributed data processing
- Proven ability to design and maintain complex ETL pipelines across multiple data sources
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, Step Functions, or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with CI/CD practices, Terraform/CDK, and cloud cost optimization
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of distributed query execution
- Experience working with containerized workloads (Docker)
- Leadership skills and ability to guide and mentor teammates
- Ability to scope projects, propose architectures, and evaluate tech choices
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
- Cloud certifications (e.g. GCP Data Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Experience with data streaming, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of customer requirement gathering and pre-sales estimation processes
- Experience implementing data privacy compliance such as PDPA
